The Nepal frames start in a temple hall, with three young monks seated in front of a gilded Buddha, and move out into the narrow streets, where cyclists and shopkeepers share the same cobbles.
Most of the gallery is spent around the stupa, where prayer flags, flocks of pigeons and rows of butter lamps give every frame its own light. A smiling monk and a woman at prayer show a place that is lived in, not put on display.
