The series follows travellers through Vietnam by day and by night: cycling through a lantern-lit old town, watching the sun go down from a glass platform over the sea, and riding a round basket boat through the water palms.

Local work is part of the story too. Salt carriers cross the flats at sunset and toss salt into the light, and the trip ends at a night market, with plates of seafood under the lights of the stalls.
