Bingin Tree Tops

Bingin Tree Tops is a cluster of villas on a hillside in Uluwatu, built from white walls, dark timber and tall pitched roofs. We shot the buildings first, in clean daylight, then the rooms and pools with guests using them.

The Balinese blessing ceremony is part of the story, so it is in the gallery: offerings being prepared, a short exchange in front of the Tree Top 5 sign and priests at prayer. Those frames sit among the living spaces and give the set a human rhythm.
