How it all started
Asri was founded in 2020 by Bali based photographer & filmmaker, Cam Vaughne. After the island’s tourism industry was devastated by the global pandemic, Cam and his wife, Kelsey, made it their mission to find some way to help support the local community. As travel content creators who found their “asri” in Bali years ago, they decided to create a product that could appeal to other creative professionals, telling stories through the hands of local craftsmen.
Thus, asri was born! A small, independent label based on the locations around the world that inspire us.
